Vince Nudo is a Canadian-American composer, whose music has traveled across continents, industries, and mediums.  From crafting evocative scores for award-winning films to shaping the sound of influential bands, his career is a testament to restless creativity and genre-spanning versatility.

His compositions have underscored feature-length films, documentaries, and shorts that have premiered at some of the world’s most prestigious festivals, including CannesToronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin/Madrid.  Most recently, his work on Mary Heilmann: Waves, Roads & Hallucinations debuted at the Hamptons International Film Festival before reaching global audiences through Tribeca Films.

Beyond cinema, Nudo’s musical reach and collaborations extend into high fashion and contemporary art.  His sound has accompanied branded content for Chanel, Tiffany & Co., Maison Margiela, and Calvin Klein, while his work has been featured in installations at the Whitney Biennial, Storm King Art Center, and Centre Phi Montréal.

As a recording artist, he has played a pivotal role in shaping modern rock, recording five studio albums with Kurt Vile & The Violators, including the critically acclaimed Wakin On A Pretty Daze.  Nudo is also a founding member of the influential Montréal rock band Priestess.  He has toured internationally, performing at renowned music festivals such as Primavera Soundand Coachella.
His music has left its mark on pop culture, with live performances on Late Show with David Letterman, and placements in HBO’s Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Entourage and Sony Pictures’ Academy Award-nominated Surf’s Up.  Gamers might also recognize his work in the iconic Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
